All staff are extremely kid friendly, professional, and caring. My son looks forward to visiting the dentist! Not many dentist's can boast that children look forward to visiting for a cleaning.
Dr. Schutte has cared for my children for more than 15 years. She was able to examine my son who has oral aversion and autism quickly and effectively without traumatizing him. Ditto for my non-verbal son with cerebral palsy. We really appreciate her ability to work with our children with disabilities, providing them with high quality, appropriate dental care!
Our son has only ever seen Dr. Schutte ! She and all the wonderfully kind and patient and understanding staff have always made our son so comfortable in what could've been a very high intensity experience for him. It wasn't long before he trusted them all so much he graduated from the private setting to the open area. They are so respectful and listen so intently to his concerns and silly stories he likes to share! 5 stars aren't enough it's been a 10 since day 1.
My son has been cared for by Dr. Erickson since his first dental visit. Unfortunately this year the office stopped accepting our dental insurance. I took my son to another dental office for his yearly check-up. Our experience was terrible. I came back to Dr. Erickson (paid out-of-pocket) for a second opinion. She was great and ended up disagreeing with the diagnosis/plan from the other dental office. She explained everything very clearly, and in a very professional manner explained what the other provider might have been seeing. We will continue to see Dr, Erickson from now on, despite having dental insurance that is not accepted by her office.
Dr. Sally is wonderful. Her interaction with the children about what she will do is very gentle. Her staff at Burnsville are amazing. They are kind and always smiling. You feel welcome there.
