I scheduled this appointment and specifically asked if my insurance would cover my glasses. Barbie the lafy who scheduled my appointment said thay yes they would. I had the exam and halfway through my exam I was told that a pair of glasses weren't covered at this location and it would cost me if I wanted them. They proceded to tell me that Park Nicollet in Burnsville would have been covered by my insurance. Barbie then tells me that there is no way she could have known prior if my insurance would cover it. I replied by saying that I specifically asked that when I scheduled the appointment and if I had known that earlier then I would have gone somewhere else. She turned away and did not reply. That is so unprofessional and wrong to give a customer invalid information. I basically wasted my one eye exam a year on a place that doesn't take my insurance yet told me they did. The other part of my experience was with Dr. Emily herself. She needed to redue my inital eye exam and her reason as to why i had to redue the exam was it didn't read correctly because you were talking to much during the exam. I didn't talk at all because I didn't feel comfortable from the moment I stepped through there door. I should have walked out but I stayed because I needed glasses for school. What a mistake I made. But if you enjoy being scammed and given the wrong information and not finding out until it's too late and being accused of things you didn't do then this is the place for you.
I was grateful they were able to fit me in to be seen for an emergency appointment at 5:30 PM ... Infection and something ok my eye. The receptionist actually called me back after I thought it impossible to get seen by a Dr... Same day
