Great experience for our recent long distance move. Container was delivered and pickup as scheduled. Customer service was top notch. If you're looking for an economical solution for a short or long distance move 1800packrat is it. Would definitely recommend and use again if we move in the future.
1-800-PACK-RAT helped make our long distance move such a breeze. They were great about keeping us up to date on our arrival times and easy to get in touch with when we had questions. I would hands down recommend them to anyone moving long distance OR in town.
Other than price matching. I can't say anything positive about pack rat. They will tell you about convince calls, before and after deliveries so that your ready for containers to be placed and picked up. Go ahead and expect them to NOT call the hour before like they are supposed to. But more so as they are out front, and expect everything to be ready and cleared. Also, be prepared for your container to look like it went through a crash course of "How to Drive a Fork Lift" class. Mine was extremely banged up. And if you have any questions or concerns, I assure you, they will do as little as possible to give you answers. Piss poor service for top dollar pricing.
We used 1-800-PACK-RAT to move from Burnsville to Maple Grove and it was great. They dropped off the container on time and we took our time filling it up. They took it back to the warehouse for a couple weeks before brining it to our new address as scheduled. Again, they were on time and everything arrived in one piece. This really made the moving process easy and they were quite a bit cheaper than Pods.
1-800-Pack-Rat was the best long distance moving experience I have had. Everyone from the customer service reps to the drivers was friendly and helpful. Any questions I had were answered quickly and their advice and recommendations were on point. As a single, older woman it was wonderful not to have to worry about hauling and driving everything from Colorado to Minnesota. A bonus was that I had to have storage for some time after the move so all my "stuff" just stayed in the container just as I packed it until I had a permanent location yet I was able to access if necessary. I would recommend 1-800-Pack-Rat to anyone anticipating a move.
