There are cool jets, waterfalls, a flow-y river area, and grassy areas as well. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Is fun for all. Parents can be in the water(ankle deep) but not get wet. It only has a few sprinklers/fountains so on a busy day it may get crazy.

Great place for a picnic. Decent amount of shaded spots on tiered lawns.

This is one of my favorite parks! Great for kids, teens and adults! Fun water features, some concrete + lots of grass seating, as well as tables and benches. There is quite a bit of programming there, like Friday Night Flicks On The Bricks, Music In The Park, etc., and often city celebrations are held there. On sunny, summer days when they anticipate a good turnout, ice cream truck drivers come by, which is always fun for an inexpensive, cool treat! The Ames Center shares the same block as this park, and nearby are some fun shops and restaurants (Ficus & Fig, Jensen's Cafe, JoJo's Rose and Wine, Mediterranean Cruise). It's a perfect park for all! So glad we live close and can come often... I've made over a decade's-worth of memories in this park, and my kids are starting to too!

On Fridays in the summer there is a DJ. The last time I was there, Princess Rapunzel showed up.

Very fun water features. Expansive water features, really. Waterfalls, fountains, and "rivers." Bring a beach ball if you remember to.

Drive all the way on one of the last nice nights of summer. Kid inevitably has to poop within minutes. Ames center, locked, outdoor public restrooms, locked. No outhouses. Kids everywhere. Had to drive home, night ruined.

This place is great! It's free, parking is free, there are a bunch of levels for kids of all ages to play in, and there are shady spots.
