I always receive fast, friendly service at this location. They often give me a list of suggested/recommended maintenance which is helpful so I can plan and budget for it, but they are never pushy about getting it done. They also leave a real flower and snack on my dashboard every time I get an oil change - nice touch!
Had and oil change and transmission flush done. The staff was friendly, prices were reasonable, and I was very pleased with the work done. Have been going there for years. Also they have lots of disc. coupons.
My mom had came into Honest 1 for an oil change... They told her the intake manifold was leaking! To do the intake manifold you also flush the coolant... Everything they said was being charged as a different job so they can add all sorts of labor into the price... They told her it needed to be done ASAP or the engine would seize...! They told her it was gonna cost almost $1500! Luckily she didn't do it... Brought it to a different shop and was told it could wait quite awhile before anything would happen and was told $680 to fix with coolant flush! Shame on these people for trying to take advantage of people like this! She WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN!
I know one of the mechanics working in this shop. He is excellent. The front desk has great customer service I received a follow up phone call to ensure I was satisfied with the work they had done. They live up to their name.
Honest-1 performed an oil change for me. They were friendly and professional. The one downside was it took nearly an hour for the oil change (and don't expect to be able to drop in without an appointment). That being said, with the old saw that you can (at best) choose two of: fat, cheap, high quality, my experience suggests that Honest-1 might offer at least reasonable (maybe better-than-reasonable) prices and quality work, while perhaps not being the fastest. In my book, that's not a bad value equation for a service shop.
