I used to really like this Applebee's I would ignore what people said because I thought the food was good. But within the past year I've been having problem after problem with this location. I always get servers that either are extremely slow or make it obvious they don't want to be there. I would like to call out a certain server named Jake who when I paid for my food (my total was 44.75) I gave him 40 in cash and to put the rest on a card. My card got charged 30.75.......WHERE DID MY 40 GO? This location has seriously gone downhill.
UPDATE: I talked to a manager and the issue has been resolved. The managers obviously care about the state of their store and I highly respect that.
Food was good, quick service. Awesome happy hour food & drinks. Last visit not the best but this time our server Chelsea was great. Will return.
Set up a 9:30 online order that wasn't ready until 20 minutes later. Poor time management by staff.
I am appalled by the lack of consideration and respect shown by the wait staff and the management here. Tonight, while celebrating a volleyball win, we chose this Applebee's for drinks and sorely regretted our decision. It was busy, which I can understand. Our first round of dollarita drinks were delayed by 35 minutes, but we tried to be understanding until they came to us all incorrect. Each of us had ordered a different flavored syrup for the margarita and they all came to us as the regular lime flavor. Not a huge deal and we forgave it because our waiter told us he'd take care of it and make sure our next round was correct. It wasn't until I was a few sips into my drink that I noticed the two large cracks all the way up opposite sides of the glass stein I had been served. I pointed it out to the waiter, expecting that he would replace the drink entirely. Instead, he came back not 30 seconds later with the exact same amount of liquid that had been in my glass (just over half full) in a new, warm glass. He had clearly dumped whatever was left in my broken glass into a new one, thinking that would suffice. I am not so disappointed by the fact that I was accidentally given a broken glass, but that I was returned the same liquid that had been in the broken glass STILL with the risk of drinking a glass shard. I did not touch the drink. Our second round of drinks came another half an hour later and my friend also received a chipped glass. Only this time, we were looking for it. We told our waiter and she specifically asked for a whole new drink. He returned again, not 30 seconds later, with her replacement. We had little confidence that he had actually given her a new drink because the replacement came back to us all too quickly compared to the time it took us to get it in the first place. At the end of the night, we got the bill and were being charged for both rounds of drinks after our waiter had told us that he would take care of the first one. We confronted our waiter and he brought out a manager. The worst part of all of this was how we were treated by the manager. Not with the understanding that one would expect from someone in our "Neighborhood" but with contempt, stating that "I was in the back all night so I didn't see anything and I don't know if that really happened." He seemed unwilling to take our word for it, despite the real risk of serious damage happening if I had consumed the glass that his staff member had served me - twice! Despite his inexcusable behavior, he did comp the drinks. But he also made it certain that we would never go back there and that we would tell all our friends in the area about our awful experience. The Dollarita wasn't worth me now monitoring my bodily waste to check for any internal bleeding over the next two days. We began the night in good spirits and ended the night cursing the person that suggested Applebee's, with no desire to make that mistake again. Terrible service with little concern for the treatment of their customers and more concern for making a buck, I wish I could give less than one star.
When I was little this place was halfway decent... Not so anymore. Applebee’s, for when you get any someone else to heat up your microwave meal.
